All American Mechanical Contractors, Inc. and its affiliated companies (collectively “AAMC”), know that you care about how your personal information is used and shared and we take your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy practices. By visiting the AAMC websites ("Sites") or using other AAMC services, you are accepting the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers AAMC's treatment of personal information that AAMC or its partners gather when you are on the Sites and when you use AAMC services. This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that AAMC does not own or control or to individuals that AAMC does not employ or manage. 

What Personal Information About Customers Does AAMC Collect?

Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a friendly, customized, and efficient experience. We collect the following types of information from our customers:

Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store any information you enter on the Sites, provide to us in connection with registration for AAMC services or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features and services. The personal information you provide is used for such purposes as enabling your use of certain services, responding to your requests for certain products and services, customizing the advertising and content you see, and communicating with you about specials and new products.


In order for you to use certain of our Sites or services, you may need to complete a registration form. We require your contact information (such as name and e-mail address). We may also request demographic information and unique identifiers in order to provide you with a more personalized service.


To process your order, we may require contact information (such as billing address) and credit card or other payment information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. 


Automatic Information:
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. AAMC automatically receives and records certain "traffic data" on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, AAMC cookie information, and the page you requested. AAMC uses this traffic data to help diagnose problems with its server, analyze trends and administer the Sites and services.

Generally, our services automatically collect usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our Sites and its components or usage data regarding our services, similar to TV ratings that indicate how many people watched a particular show. Such data is only used in the aggregate. This type of collective data enables us and our partners to figure out how often customers use parts of the Sites or the services, so we can make the Sites and services appealing to as many customers as possible. In addition, we may provide statistical information, not information about you personally, to our partners about how our customers, collectively, use our Sites and services. We share this type of statistical data so that our partners also understand how often people use their areas, services and our Sites, so that they, too, may provide you with an optimal web experience or services experience.

Many companies offer programs that help you to visit web sites anonymously. While AAMC will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these programs are available.

We may, and allow our partners to, transfer from your computer that uses a AAMC backup service located in any country to, or maintainon, our or our partners’ servers located in any country (including, the U.S.), personal or other information you provide in connection with a AAMC service. 


E-mail Communications:

We may receive a confirmation when you open an e-mail from AAMC if your computer supports this type of program, in order to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. We also may send out emails with news or promotions. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, please login to your account and select the corresponding option from the account area or otherwise inform us of your preference to not receive such emails by replying to our email. 

Information From Other Sources:

For purposes such as improving personalization of our service, we may receive information about you from other sources and add it to our account information. We also sometimes receive updated information from other sources so that we can correct our records and communicate more easily.

What about Cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our Sites and services are visited and by how many people. AAMC cookies do not collect personal information, and we do not combine information collected through cookies with other personal information to tell us who you are or what your screen name or email address is.

The "help" portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies. We strongly recommend that you leave the cookies activated, however, because cookies enable you to take advantage of some of AAMC's most attractive features.

Some of our business partners may use cookies on our Sites (for example, advertisers) or in connection with our services. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

Will AAMC Share Any of the Information it Receives?

Information about our customers is an integral part of our business. We may disclose your personal information with entities that are controlled by or control AAMC as described below. 

Affiliated Business We Do Not Control:

We are affiliated with a variety of businesses and work closely with them. In certain situations, AAMC provides services, or sells products jointly with affiliated businesses (i.e. subcontractors). We will share customer information that is related to such transactions with that affiliated business.


Agents and Partners:

We employ other companies and people to perform tasks and services on our behalf and need to share your information with them and allow them to use such information in order to provide products or services to you. Examples may include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, hosting and performing our services, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, editing content and providing customer service.


Promotional Offers:

We may send offers to certain customers on behalf of other businesses. In addition, we may, from time to time, share your contact information with other third parties to provide you with additional opportunities to learn of other products and services that may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive these offers, please log in to your Site account and select the corresponding option from the account area or otherwise inform us of your preference to not receive such emails.. 


Affiliates and Business Transfers:

In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets or businesses. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that are transferred. AAMC or our partners (or their subcontractors) may share some or all of your personal and other information (solely as encrypted) with their Affiliates in connection with providing the AAMC services. If AAMC or its assets, or our partners (or their subcontractors) or our partners’ (or their subcontractors’) assets, are acquired by a third party, that third party will possess your personal and other information and it will assume the rights and obligations of AAMC or its partners (or their subcontractors), as applicable, regarding your personal or other information. An “Affiliate” is a parent, any subsidiary, joint venture, or other third party under common control with AAMC or its partner (or its subcontractors).


Protection of AAMC and Others:

We may release personal information when we believe in good faith that releasing the information is necessary to comply with that law; or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on AAMC or its partners (or any of their subcontractors); enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of AAMC, its partners (or their subcontractors), our employees, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.


With Your Consent:

We also may share information with third parties with your consent. 

Is Information About Me Secure?

Your AAMC Account Information, if applicable, is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to work to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by signing off once you have finished using a shared computer. 

We have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, use or disclosure, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online or via the AAMC services. However, we do not guarantee or assure security and such risks cannot be eliminated; thus, you are reminded to not store sensitive information (such as Social Security Numbers and other sensitive financial information) on the Sites or AAMC services. 

What Information Can I Access?

You can access the personal information that we have collected about you on our Site and correct, amend, or delete information that is inaccurate by contacting us via email by visiting our contact us page.

What Choices Do I Have?

As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information, even though it may be needed to make a purchase or take advantage of certain AAMC features.

You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the "What Information Do I Have" section above. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.

If applicable, you may request deletion of your AAMC account by logging into your Site account and selecting the close account option from the account area by contacting us via email using our contact form. Please note that some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account.

If you do not wish to receive promotional e-mail from us, please login to your Site account and select the corresponding option or by contacting us via email using our contact form. Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we will continue to send you important account-related information.

AAMC Services may permit you to link to other websites on the Internet, and other websites may contain links to the Sites. These other websites are not under AAMC control. The privacy and security practices of websites linked to or from the Sites are not covered by this Privacy Statement, and AAMC is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of such websites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

AAMC may amend this Privacy Policy. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make material changes to our privacy policy, we will notify you by posting an announcement on our Sites so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances if any, it is disclosed.
