Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join All American Mechanical Contractors, Inc. We are a growing nationwide facility services company in business since 1975. We provide maintenance services to large retailers, financial institutions, restaurants, and government agencies.

The Account Manager position is immediately available for highly qualified applicants. Our offices are located in Brea, California. 


The Company:

All American is a full-service facilities maintenance organization servicing multiple location retailers, financial institutions, restaurants, and government agencies with comprehensive facilities maintenance solutions on a regional and national level.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work is primarily performed in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and proven Account Manager. This is a hands on position providing extensive VIP service to key and national accounts. The Account Manager manages a discreet set of accounts and full responsibility for supporting current customers, identifying, and forming new business relationships, discovering new opportunities, generating proposals and closing business; using the best telecommunications and technology tools available and periodic travel. Our Account Managers are Key Players who assist with every stage of the process -- from managing Clients and processing service and project requests, straight through to completion.

If you have proven construction, facility maintenance, and facility repair experience, you will find this both a challenging and rewarding position providing service to some of the largest Corporate Clients in the country. Our standards are high and we will require an individual with relentless drive; outstanding presentation, written and verbal skills; ability to understand and navigate complicated business environments; and the ability to interpret and present complex technical solutions in simple terms.


Qualifications and Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • A Bachelor's degree or 5 years of verifiable experience in facilities maintenance, building repairs, or property management where you were responsible for work order analysis and entry, dispatching, follow up, Client satisfaction, and invoicing.

  • Extreme attention to detail, and organizational skills.

  • A consultative, value-added sales approach.

  • Discipline and energy to maintain consistently high levels of activity.

  • Knowledge of retail, financial, healthcare, restaurants, and government facilities.

  • A working knowledge of business processes, profit and loss, market strategy, and financial terms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

  • Strong MS Office with emphasis in Excel, Ariba, SAP, Maximo, Service Channel, SamPro and extensive internet experience, contact and sales process management.

  • Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written.

  • The ability to use a telephone, computer based tools and develop presentations to drive business.

  • A commitment to customer support and the ability to maintain and develop productive business relationships.

  • Ability and willingness to be accessible and available during all hours and be on-call on a rotating basis.

  • Team/service focus.

  • Ability to multi-task on a daily basis in a fast paced environment.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documents

  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers, clients, managers, co-workers, and vendors/subcontractors


Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree or 5 years of verifiable experience in facilities maintenance, building repairs, or property management where you were responsible for work order analysis and entry, dispatching, follow up, Client satisfaction, and invoicing.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone.

  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.


Travel:

This position requires no travel.

 

Schedule:

This position schedule is variable and will participate on a rotating on-call basis.
